In the delivery service location you are daily processing orders for restaurants, gas stations, caterers, campsites and events, but also healthcare institutions, hospitals and the army. You can imagine what a huge operation it is to supply these customers with the right products at the right time every day!?
As an Expedition Employee you can make an important contribution to this! The forwarding department is the last link in processing the customers orders. This department works to tight deadlines to ensure that orders are ready for shipment on time. Thanks to your fast and accurate approach, you ensure that their trucks are loaded on time and can leave on their way to the customer. As an Expedition Employee you are therefore indispensable! Here is a list of the activities that you, as a Forwarding Employee at Sligro Food Group, can put your shoulders under:
- Checking collected products for numbers and quality;
- Sorting, placing on route and scanning the (fresh) products that arrived at night
- Compiling and preparing orders for shipment on route and customer;
- Moving the orders to the correct route;
- Identifying possible deviations and taking adequate follow-up actions;
- Transfer the valuable orders to the driver using a pocket computer.
