Wat je gaat doen:

In this global role you will be responsible for the definition, maintenance and continuous improvement of the various logistics processes. The primary objective in this role is driving the vision for consistency in transport and warehousing standards. This role provides leadership across all 13 locations in Europa and the United States. You will be accountable for shaping and deliivering the business?s logistics propositions in order to drive the overall performance of the department and the company. You will work with all Logistics managers in our business to deliver excellent execution.In this role you report to the Supply Chain Director.

A small selection of your further responsibilities:

  • Leading the Logistics  community;
  • Integrate cross-functional processes with special focus on CST, Planning and manufacturing process;
  • Define and embed the logistics process and functional requirements towards any supporting system;
  • Focus on excellent execution for all aspects of logistics;
  • Availability of global Standard Operating Procedures (including work instructions) tools;
  • Functional owner of information systems that support the Logistics process;
  • Review, prioritize and follow up of system related performance issues and continuous improvement opportunities;
  • Support during rollout of new systems: training local staff, support of local testing, hand holding after go-live

In the first year you will focus on the ERP implementation on all the diferent locations. In the second year you will focus more on some other big projects.

Wat we vragen:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating in an international large or midsize company;
  • You are fun to work with;
  • Experience in a logistics manufacturing environment;
  • Great stakeholder management skills;
  • Having lead a complex logistics related project;
  • Knowledge of business processes and master data management;
  • Knowledge of Logistics processes and possibilities ;
  • Analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Project management skills;
  • Experience with ERP and TMS systems (preferably IFS and Alpha);
  • Willing to travel.
