As orderpicker you?re responsible for collecting the products that make up an order and preparing the order for transportation. For the most part you?ll be working on the ?warm? side, where the main part of the orderpicking process happens. Some hours per day you?ll spend in the cooling (6 degrees Celsius). If you keep up the pace you?ll be warm all the time.
You?ll be working with groceries that you can buy in the supermarket, where the heaviest products are crates of beer (which aren?t ordered that often), so most of the times it?s light lifting.
In your breaks you can buy your lunch in the canteen, The canteen has recently undergone a transformation where you can relax in you breaks by playing a game of ping-pong or table soccer.

Our client is a young and dynamic company which is growing at a fast pace. To keep up with this growth, they?re looking for fulltime orderpickers in the dayshift.
Wat we jou bieden
The salary is ?10,30 per hour. There is a travel allowance for people living outside of Almere of ?0,19 cents per kilometer.
If you want to work on the Saturdays as well, there?s a 30% fee for working on the Saturdays.
The working hours are 08:00 ? 17:00 from Monday til Friday. The Saturday will also be 08:00 ? 17:00.
Wat we verwachten
For this vacancy you don?t need any specific experience. The most important thing you have to keep in mind is that you?ll be spending most of the day standing and walking, which can be a burden for your feet. Experience has shown us however that within a week or two your feet are used to the walking.
Furthermore:
- You need to be proficient in the English language, so that communication is no problem for you;
- You need to be available for 40 hours a week, even though its possible to work 48 hours a week (if you want).
- You have to be able to get to the client within 30 minutes.
