Roles & ResponsibilitiesOur KPMG Lighthouse is growing!The Belgian local Center of Excellence for Data, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence & Intelligent Automation is looking for a Data Strategist. In this function, you will be supporting our clients in unlocking value from machine learning and AI, generating meaningful and lasting benefits.Key responsibilities include:
- Help understand how data & AI is fundamentally changing industries, business models, operations and society as a whole.
- Drive and execute Data and AI related initiatives by leveraging new technologies and the ever-expanding data assets of our clients.
- Help build robust business cases for Data and AI related solutions to support our clients go/no-go decisions, including ROI calculations of business benefits and scenario analysis.
- Translate Data & AI vison or strategy into a realistic realization approach, roadmap and project plan(s).
- Assemble and lead multi-disciplinary teams to get the job done, working together with business and industry experts, data consultants, scientists, architects and engineers.
- Follow market trends and strategic goals impacting our client's organization and embed it into our solutions.
- Evangelize the power of data & AI, both internally and externally and act as an ambassador for the Lighthouse team.

Skills & Qualifications
- You are analytical and curious with a make-it-happen mentality.
- You are a strategic storyteller, experienced in the identification of value creation opportunities leveraging Data and AI and able to translate this into compelling business cases to senior executives.
- You have a deep understanding of the possibilities, pitfalls and limitations of the board spectrum of Data and AI.
- You love guiding clients through their data-driven journeys.
In addition, you also feature the following qualifications:
- You have 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in the area of AI or data strategy, data monetization, analytics and automation.
- You understand how sustainable value creation from data & AI should be embedded within a broader business strategy and operating model.
- You are knowledgeable about the trends and evolutions in the area of data & analytics, machine learning / AI and automation.
- You have strong experience with project management methodologies & agile delivery approaches within an analytics / AI context.
- You have experience in applying innovation and design thinking techniques in context of Data & AI.
- You have strong communication and relationship building skills.
- You are bilingual, English and Dutch/French
