Omschrijving
As a Cloud DevOps Security Lead, you will work closely together with our cloud infrastructure and software development teams to ensure all our cloud solutions are secure and all applications we build are developed in a secure way.
You understand software development and cloud principles, have experience with Microsoft Azure and the Agile methodology. You know what security controls and policies are needed to manage access to data and monitor threats to ensure that applications, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected. You will work in a team.
Your responsibilities:
- Define secure software development standard for Arcadis and educate all developers on this;
- Lead security assessments of applications and architectural network designs and provide insight on current risk, and potential improvements;
- Responsible for developing our cloud security strategy and outlining the roadmap for its implementation and roll out across the cloud environments;
- Design and implementation of key cyber security controls and defenses against threats in cloud environments;
- Deliver cloud assessment reviews to enable solution owners to understand their alignment to bet practice, with recommendations on improvements;
- Design, develop, test, and evaluate information system security throughout the software development lifecycle;
- Responsible to signal and report relevant security issues;
- Lead small functional projects;
- Drive process improvements;
- Set ambitious goals and targets;
- Systematically break down a complex problem into parts, anticipated obstacles, and thinks ahead about next steps;
- Can deal with resistance and escalates timely.

It is important that you recognize unspoken organizational limitations ? what is and is not possible at certain times and certain positions. As Cloud DevOps Security Lead you need to combine expert knowledge with knowledge of Arcadis. Investigating development areas and adjusting behavior is an interest of you. You know relevant stakeholders to create buy in. Furthermore, you like to drive improvements and to discover new solutions (out-of-the-box).
Who are we looking for:
- Education: Bachelor or Master (like software engineering);
- Applicable security certifications, such as CASSP, SABSA, CISM, GDS;
- Experience: > 5 years;
- Software engineering background with deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies;
- A passion for maintaining high quality secure code; you keep up to date with security trends and share that information with you peers and business stakeholders;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Strong knowledge and experience of security architecture principles and frameworks;
- Experience in secure coding tools;
- Hands-on experience of Agile and DevOps practices;
- Recent hands-on experience of cloud technologies particularly Azure;
- Excellent communication skills, you need to be able to talk tech with engineers and be able to clearly articulate risks and remediation approaches to your business stakeholders.
