About the Vacancy
To support our further worldwide growth, we are looking to recruit an Engineer for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to join our team. You will be positioned to form a reliable colleague for our international operating Design & Engineering team located in Breda. As Engineer MHE you are not only technically responsible for the design and construction of all Material Handling Equipment in our projects but will also provide support to business development initiatives. Also, you will support the existing operations with continuous improvement and capability development.Based in the headquarters, you will be part of a multifunctional team and exposed to many parts of our global business.
What will you do?
- Market search for the best MHE technical solutions in Cold store environment (Conveyors, racking, controls, and automated stacker cranes)
- Continuous research of innovative technical solutions in MHE
- Lead the design of Material Handling for our projects
- Prepare the tender packages for the specific suppliers together with the Project Engineers
- Monitor the engineering process based on quality and Total Cost of Ownership
- Provide support to business development on budgeting and Material Handling Solutions
- Cooperate with operations on continuous improvement of the Material Handling Equipment
Job requirements

- A track record of 7-10 years in relevant professions, the following industries could have a good match
- System Integrator
- Material Handling Supplier

- You are willing to travel on a fairly regular basis
- You must be comfortable in working in a dynamic work environment
- Highly proficient in English
