We are looking to strengthen our Insights & Data Team with a SAS Data Management consultant.
The SAS Data Management consultant has specific experience in:
- 3 to 7 years experience with SAS: SAS Base, SAS Date Integration Studio, SAS Management Console, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS DataFlux, SAS Data Governance tools
- Experience in administration of SAS application platform using SAS Management Console and do performance tuning on the platform
- Data modeling of Data Warehouse/Mart in SAS for reporting tools such as SAS VA
- Assisting and coaching of ETL specialists during the course of their individual projects
- Defining/implementing design patterns for data ingestion/transformations using ETL tools
- Supporting multiple projects in building new data sets and data structures as required, and for managing the distribution, replication and archiving of data throughout the enterprise and across projects
- Knowledge of Big Data technology is a plus
- Experience with Linux / Unix is a plus
General knowledge of:
- Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Communicates and collaborate with customer representatives
- Works towards deadlines with high quality
- Manage the balance of current and future needs in both design and content
