De vacature
As a BI Functional Analyst / Project Manager you:
- work closely with clients and IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. You identify reporting and data analysis needs
- analyse and advise on required budgeting, forecasting, planning? processes clients have in place or should work out to better react on reported actuals.
- help clients in defining their Key Performance Indicators and advise them in implementing the appropriate processes to follow up on these KPI?s
- act as the client single point of contact in the requirements definition, design, build and support phases of the implementation of Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions
- lead meetings with the clients to help them define their requirements and priorities, and with the technical teams to define correct designs.
- make data models (star schemes, data vault,? designs), and write the reporting specifications. You will guarantee excellent documentation of the data model design, dashboards and reports.
- follow the implementation, be involved in the writing of test cases scenarios, and follow the testing phase.
- validate with the clients the good adequacy of the deliverables with their requirements ? educate and train clients to use the analytical tools, and to display the information in the forms and content needed
Functie eisen
- Bachelor or Master Degree in IT, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related field with a strong interest in IT and new technologies
- At least 3 years working experience in Business Intelligence / Performance Management software tools (SQL, BI reporting tools, Planning tools)
- Must be incredibly detail-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Dutch/French/English). Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of project management.
- Technical knowledge of various BI systems.
