What will you be doing?
Our client is a world wide food production company.
In short, this specific role of Project Lead Planning, is to co-ordinate and manage projects for planning activities to successfully deliver service, cost and inventory targets of planning for both finished goods and dry goods.
The key responsibilities will be to maximize service and availability by delivery on time of the projects, phase out/in, within agreed budget for finished and dry goods write off and manage demand validation processes, working together with R&D, the international regions, Finance, Material and Supply planning teams.
You will also ensure processes are codified, standardized and simplified as part of the continuous improvement agenda.
You will report in to the Innovation Planning Team lead and you are part of the international Planning team.
Tasks:
- Perform and coordinate the Innovation planning process in relation to Regions, Supply & Material Planning;
- Participate in innovation/renovation projects as Supply Chain representative, evaluate and manage risks, bring inventory, sustainable supply chain and other planning topics to the conversation;
- Manage weekly phase in/out of products in against minimal write off's;
- Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of primary and secondary inventory, ensuring optimum stocks of the right product in the right location;
- Connect and build best relationships with all the stakeholders to drive improvement and ensure communication flows working effectively and efficiently.
Wat we vragen:
This role is suitable for a person who can deliver projects, coordinate and find solutions and at the same time be the change agent, convince stakeholders and drive the improvement agenda.
- 3 years Supply Chain planning experience with a proven track record including demand and supply network planning as well as project planning;
- Supply chain qualification degree or APICS;
- Understanding of end to end supply chain operational processes;
- Customer service and cross functional project management experience;
- Strong networking, influencing & communication skills;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details;
- Must hold self and others to account regarding clarity in roles and responsibilities.

- This is an interim vacancy for 6 months at least;
- DPA provides the possibility to hire you directly with a full employment contract;
