Wat je gaat doen:
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for maximizing supply chain efficiency and effectiveness in an international surrounding. The supply chain department is responsible for the warehousing and distribution of finished products and spare parts in EMEA. The department consists a team covering logistics, transportation, stock control and supply Chain coordinators.
Supervising 1 senior logistics manager, 1 stock controller, 5 supply chain analysts.
Your tasks and responsibility consist of:
- Undertakes all key activities to manage the assigned departments effectively;
- Owns the KPI?s for the supply chain dept. and manages the implementation and improvement accordingly;
- Responsible for our 3th party warehouse(s) and distribution / transportation partners;
- Optimize the Supply Chain;
- Develop and implement a warehouse and distribution footprint that fits the strategy of the organisation;
- Analyze data to create and set logistical parameters;
- Develop of a distribution infrastructure that supports our customers in the most cost effective and efficient manner;
- Actively seek creative supply solutions to optimize cost and to create added value;
- Manages departmental budgets.
Wat we vragen:
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or similar;
- 7+ years relevant work experience in a multidiscipline Supply Chain role;
- Very extensive work experience in the own discipline in managing logistics on all aspects and in an overall organizational discipline combined with business knowledge;
- Able to develop and execute long-term strategic issues and achieving departmental objectives;
- High level attention to detail to conduct analysis of departmental and organizational data and KPI?s. Consistency on high accuracy;
- Experience in dealing with high complex matters and projects that are extremely vulnerable for the future of the team and are of great importance to the department;
- Multiple years? experience in or people manage;
- Independent worker and budget responsibilities.
